Today is a special day in the family: today is Courtney Hyde
Del Bloggolo’s birthday. If you don’t know who she is let me clue you in.
She is a woman of creative talents and great instincts, with
a knack for motherhood and a quiet way of pleasing people. She is of good cheer
and great spirits, who has imparted that sense into her lovely creations, one
in particular, La Principessa, my granddaughter.
She works hard, and what time she spends is not wasted, her
results are more than perfect. She is her own person and a good one at that.

Recently when TLW (The Little Woman) and I were out in
Burbank visiting and celebrating La Principessa’s 1st birthday, the
amazing Courtney made a birthday cake. You think, cake, icing and a candle or
two, no big deal. Well you haven’t seen a cake like this one, created with her
hands, an amazing masterpiece of culinary, confectionary and graphic artistry,
ready for the camera!
But then what did you expect? Look what she did for a granddaughter,
and although my son, #1 Son Anthony had a part in it, she carried this child
for 9 months, and didn’t screw it up!

Well Courtney, we all too often go through life unnoticed,
unheralded and un appreciated, we your in-laws feel like you are a special
treasure to us, we love you and feel we are extremely lucky to have you as a
member of the family. So with this in mind, I along with TLW wish you A HAPPY
BIRTHDAY FILLED WITH THE JOY OF YOUR BEAUTIFUL CHILD TO HELP YOU ALONG!
