Just a few days ago, TLW (The Little Woman) lost my
application to re-register my car. It meant I was going to have to go down to
the DMV (Department of Motor Vehicles) to register in person, something I
really didn’t want to do.
Being I am so lazy I decided if I could go online and
download a form to register it, print it out and continue the process, as it
should have been.
Getting into the website, which by the way is not the best:
I came across the place I thought I should be and before you knew it, I had
applied for re-registration! On line I had done what used to be a pain in the
neck! A few days later, I got my registration and stickers in the mail! All
done, no more!
This got me thinking: next time the doctor or someone tells
me to make sure I exercise, I will mention the fact that I can’t, because I go
on line, and that leaves me nothing to do!
In today’s world you don’t need a car salesman anymore,
there are sites that help you buy the car without kicking tires, you can do all
your loan and banking applications on line, and now you can even shop for
groceries on line!
With all that is going on online, the only things left for
me to do is to: Get up and dress, eat and go to the bathroom, then back to
sleep at the end of my ‘busy’ day! What has this world come to? This means I
will need something to do to fill my days, perhaps I could take up a hobby like
napping, or perhaps eat more, or maybe get a channel that covers all the
baseball games in the country. I know, I’ll learn how to use my smart phone,
right after my next nap!
