I am amazed at how much the Republican Party is willing to get to downsize. It seems to me they’re doing everything they can to dissolve the two-party system in American politics by supporting a President who is way over his head as a president.
They say: “Where there is smoke there is fire. I see too
much smoke and yet no one in the GOP thinks a fire exists. We have witnessed
the Mueller Report, the Whistle Blower and now a second one is coming forward.
There has been a constant resistance to have people under the control of the
White House testify in front of Congressional investigative committees. There
is constant wrongdoing by the administration including the US Department of Justice and the US State Department
and yet the Republican-controlled
Senate refuses to acknowledge what they know they see and hear.
Then there is the outright incompetence of the
Commander-in-Chief, Donald J. Trump with his need to please a base of
supporters with his misguided promises to build walls, get out of international
agreements, make decisions based of advice from foreign leaders who he idolizes
for their dictatorial ways, supporting interventions into our electoral system.
The last draw was the phone call from the Turkish president
to Mr. Trump. Seeking a favor from Trump to withdraw our military footprint
from the northern border of Syria, opening the way to massacring our allies,
the Kurds. You need not go too far back since his last misstep, that being the
request for quid pro quo from the Ukrainian President to investigate Joe and
Hunter Biden on a baseless suspicion of corruption by the Biden’s. The need to
make such a request was simply to misdirect the public concern over all his
corrupt, unpatriotic moves and suspicious behaviors. What is the problem? Mr.
Trump is conflicted, he continues to put his business interest ahead of the
will of the US people. The investigative reporters are starting to find a
common thread: FOLLOW THE MONEY!
With the latest disaster in Syria, it seems that the phonies
Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham suddenly find things repulsive and along
with their cohorts and wringing their hands over the reversal in US foreign
policy! HELLOO YOU FOOLS, your constant support has gotten us where we are
today. It is you who protected the incompetency of the fool in the White House.
His constant lies and exaggerations, his misguided advice and sometimes without
advice or forethought have gotten us, America, into untenable positions! Mr.
Graham, Senator McConnell, this is all on your shoulders.
